Boreal Wasteskun is dedicated to support, promote and share holistic wellness, miyupimaatisiiun, the Cree concept of wellbeing. Traditional sacred ways of living are expressed culturally through ceremonies, rituals, use of plants & medicines, music, arts and physical activities.

The Boreal Wasteskun’s activities supports healing and traditional gatherings, the promotion of artists, and the production of books on traditional knowledge. The blessings of “Miyupimaatissiun” are experienced through these activities.

We welcome people to Boreal Wasteskun land in Labelle, Quebec, where most of the outdoor activities are held. Boreal Wasteskun is a place to regain, revive and restore cultural values, beliefs, ceremonies, traditional teachings, and create a spirit of community with respect to environmental values and sustainability.
